Riverside Community Health FoundationRiverside Community Health Foundation (RCHF)

Karla Adams Foundation’s Health and Fitness Fair, is active in the community in that it is part of the Riverside City and Riverside Community Health Foundations Fit, Fresh & Fun initiative to lower the body fat percentage in Riverside below 50% over the next five years. This event is used to show the community the power of change in both nutrition and fitness can have on one’s own lifestyle. Key relationships with The Riverside Community Health Foundation (RCHF) and Riverside Community Hospital (RCH) have now been established. The momentum created by these partnerships is helping to create a sustained campaign to help area residents become a more fit and healthy community.

In early 2012, Dan Anderson, president of RCHF approached the City of Riverside to launch the Fit, Fresh & Fun Forum, comprised of local professionals that work together to “support a healthy environment which encourages residents to seek Fit, Fresh, and Fun alternatives for a healthy lifestyle. Out of this came the Start R.I.G.H.T. Campaign. The purpose of the campaign is to lower the body fat in Riverside below 50 percent in the next 5 years. Because of the Fit, Fresh & Fun Forum, Cherie Russell Marketing for Riverside Community Hospital and Karla Adams Corporation are collaborating on a series of health fair projects.

Start R.I.G.H.T. (Riverside Is Getting Healthy Together) is a city-wide healthy living campaign and challenge that aims to increase health knowledge and access to fitness and educational opportunities for Riverside Residents. This website acts as the home for Start R.I.G.H.T. campaign, providing information on “Eating Right,” “Moving Right,” and “Living Right” throughout the year, as well as a community calendar of healthy living events and programs. Start R.I.G.H.T. holds its annual Healthy-Living Challenge between the months of September and November, starting in 2012. The Challenge is open to all Riverside residents, and provides three-months worth of free health education and exercise programs in order to help participants start making healthy lifestyle changes and reach an optimal weight. Those enrolled in the challenge have the opportunity to win cash and other prizes for their participation and weight loss. When Karla Adams members choose to participate in the remarkable Transformation Photo Shoot, they are dressed in fitness outfits personally designed by the top fitness fashion designer.
“Born in Italy, I brought the European couture tradition to Hollywood, creating custom fitness wear for celebrities, athletes and fitness models for over 20 years. A creative soul, I have always sought beauty and balance. While obtaining my doctorate of Pedagogy from the University of Perugia, I studied art with equal passion. At the KOEFIA Academy of Haute Couture in Rome, I learned that a new creation starts with the fabric. My signature ER-lux has unparalleled quality with a cotton feel enhanced by the performance benefits of advanced fiber technology. Fast Drying, Four-Way Stretch, Fully Breathable, Holds Shape, Maintains Color, Moisture Wicking. My collection colors are inspired by my experiences at the Pietro Vannucci Fine Arts Academy, and my studies at the Japanese Akane Kai textiles and at the Sumi-E Kawaii Art School in Los Angeles. With my production team, I create signature looks for magazine covers, tv & films, celebrities and the elite of the fitness world. Practicing yoga, martial arts and sports since my youth and working as a fashion model for years, I sought clothing that fit my lifestyle yet remained feminine, classy, and stylish. My life’s pursuits have lead me to design what I feel is the perfect activewear. Each order is custom cut and hand made in Hollywood, California. Nearly every item we make can be customized in size, color and style.” – Elisabetta

My couture-crazy approach is here to make you “LOOK YOUR BEST!”
