According to a recent German study, there are three definitive motives behind the emerging trend of poor finances (which lead to stress) and poor diet:

Comfort Foods- Often, people rely on comfort foods as a temporary fix to their emotional stress. Allowing yourself to fully indulge on unhealthy items can drastically increase your weight, risks of diseases, and even your debt.
Unable to Afford Health Foods-Poor finances will deter you from eating health foods because of their relatively high cost. People often rely on inexpensive items such as frozen foods, junk foods, or items high in fat due to those items being inexpensive.
Although these three major factors contribute heavily to the development of health problems, thankfully there are solutions which can help improve, and maintain, a lifestyle devoted to exercise, healthy eating, and healthy finances.
