Michelle Prowse

Hi my name is Michelle Prowse and I am honored to be selected as the female representative for Riverside, Sendai’s sister city, in this year’s Sendai International Half Marathon. My most recent background in running includes qualifying for the NCAAs in Cross country, and the 5km outdoors in which I gained 10th place. After completing college, I have started road racing this year as well as continuing my studies in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Loma Linda University. I am very excited to race this half marathon and have the opportunity to compete internationally. Also, I am looking forward to meeting new people, as well as experiencing and sharing different cultural backgrounds. I wish to thank everyone for your support and once again I am extremely proud to be representing Riverside in this special 50th Anniversary.
